About the Inventors

Katerina R. Trani, L.C.S.W., A.C.S.W., D.A.P.A. (Passionate mother of three!)
As a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, Katerina is committed to helping individuals achieve emotional well-being. She has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers since 1987 and holds a certification with the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She is a Certified Diplomate in Psychotherapy with the American Psychotherapy Association. Currently, she is working toward a Ph.D in Natural Health Sciences.
Katerina has many years of experience in hospital settings. For more than four years, she has facilitated a weekly Sunday Family Support Group. She also has developed and directed both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. Her deep commitment to serving humanity has compelled her to volunteer her time and expertise working as a lay therapist for abused and neglected children. Katerina has served on the Education Committee with the Alzheimer's Association. She has vast experience with the Life Cycle Model and knows the important roles that grandparents play within families.
Sid Trani (Busy father of three!)
An entrepreneur and inventor, Sid is the owner of S.T. Model, a CNC machining facility that builds precision models and prototypes for a variety of purposes. His wide range of experience includes working directly with successful engineers and designers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some of his projects include working on medical devices for heart and brain surgery, laser machine, blood count device and insulin inhaling devices. He also has created precision models for a variety of parts and molds, including computer parts and even pottery. In his spare time, Sid enjoys honing his artistic talents through painting and sculpting; although, he presently spends most of this time working on ideas and with his children. |
